Field Test: STOL CH 701 / 750 tundra tires

Testing new tires on the ground and in the air: Here we test new tundra tires on our "Sky Jeep" STOL CH 701 light sport utility kit plane. These are quality 21-inch tundra tires (21 x 8.00 x 6) that fit on the standard STOL CH 701 6-inch Match wheels. Note: we've only changed the tires on the main gear (and not the nosewheel).

Any way we can talk you out of some information on the camera equipment that you are using, especially the one mounted to the aircraft?

Nice demo. - brings up some questions on weight, speed hindrance, durability - especially when used on hard surfaces?

I bet I know a 701 driver that may test these tires, for you, on many of the Idaho back country air strips - where they would really get a good workout.

Found them at Desser Tire for $95.00. 4 inches taller than stock and weigh 11 lbs each. Tube or tubeless.

O.k. Who makes them. What air pressure would you use off airport? My regular tires need replacing and I was thinking of going to your earlier exprimeter with the ATV tires but the change to 8" wheels and the 2 ply rating was a turn off.
