March 2008 Flying over the Rockys with NO place to land. I was sure glad I had a REAL airplane engine up front. Temp was -14C, no heater to speak of.

Tough country below sure makes you listen closely to every little noise, or vibration from the engine & airframe. Survivial equipment would also give comfort tucked into the hat rack area. A SPOT or other ELT type device is real handy. Great pictures.
