Jabiru 3300 fuel injected engine
This is the Fuel injected Jabiru engine. Electronic ignition and electronic throttle body injected. Quite a few now flying in South Africa. We are currenly working on one installing EFIS and Autopilot in Jabi J450 with the FI engine.

Its actually in production and can be ordered from Jabiru South Africa as a 3300 or 2200 fuel injected engine. They have kits available as far as I understand as well.
At the moment it it is not common rail injection. They use a Throttle body injection system with 2 electronic fuel injectors, lambda sensors for mixture, crank triggers, 2xCEU to control FI and ignition ( fixed timing at moment). They also still use the current distributor cap system for spark plugs so no wasted spark system yet.
They are selling quite a few of these engines now, but still some snags. Will wait awhile. Pricing is also USD2400 for the conversion ( if you already have an engine).
I am currently installing a Rotec TBI system into our CH601Xl and CH750 with jab engines. I like having control over mixture, costs are massively cheaper, and no electricals involved. Going to start post on the TBI installation
