Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
With the Missouri River level low again we decided to fly out and land on a river island sandbar, just east of Hermann, Missouri. Roger and I flew the Jabiru-powered STOL CH 750 while Dennis flew ahead of us in his Rotax-powered STOL CH 701.
What a beautiful afternoon!

Great fun guys.
I haven't landed on a sandbar yet although a pasture, a few service roads, etc. On another note flying at very low altitude is a real blast too.
It would be neat if there was a "post" there for carving tail numbers for those who have landed.
That looks like FUN flying (and landing!) Need fishing rod holders!
Nice job, and great landings!
Awesome!!!!!
Awesome!!!!!
Now that's fun! Beats flying a Bonanza at 15K all day. Back to real hands on!
