I made the flap handle by emulating one you use to be able to get from somewhere in California. Don't know if they are still making them. I have about 2.5 hours on the plane now. I have not touched the flaps yet. I started with high CHTs that were caused by air in the coolant system. I run Evans Waterless. Air gone now. Temps good. Left wing is a little heavy. I'm going to try it tomorrow without the strut fairings.
Well done, Curt! The grin on your face at 7:15 says it all! I must get back to my project soon...
Many happy landings, George
Great stuff Curt. Will be very satisfying for you. A great looking aeroplane and looks really well built. Enjoyed the video and especially liked the yellow post-it notes on the door! I also like the look of your flap handle. Did you make it yourself or are they available somewhere?
Cheers

Awesome. Very nice looking plane and really nice landing. Hope it is funner to fly than it was to build.
Congratulations on a job well done. Thank you for the motivation!
