Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
After 7 years of construction, my Zenith STOL 750 took flight for the first time this weekend.
While it wasn't the prettiest of flying, the plane performed perfectly with no issues other than rpms being a little lower than I would like at WOT.
For landing I had a true crosswind which I failed to notice and hence the poor alignment with the runway at the end. I'll do better after some more time getting used to the controls.

Paul - very well done! You greased that first landing like you have been flying the 750 for years! Hope to lift a cold one with you soon to celebrate!
Congratulations Paul!!! Your perseverance has paid off. (I knew you could do it!) Beautiful job on your first flight. Now the fun part begins.
Cheers,
Joe
