Note the altitude on the GPS. The suction cup on the RAM mount equalized because of the high altitude/low pressure and it let go just as I began filming. It can be very startling if you are not looking at it when it does it. The Garmin GPS seems to be pretty tough. You just have to re-attach it at 8,000 ft or so to preclude it from doing it.

Yup, had to glue my Zaon traffic detector suction cups to the canopy for the same reason. The darn thing would fall off every time I got up high or the weather got cold.
