That looks like a very pleasant lifestyle having your home and a 701 so close!
After many years of flying GA and motor gliders, my 701 has opened up an amazing new world of being able to get in and out of places which other pilots would not ever call an "airfield".

I never would have imagined 1,000 ft. would ever be lots of room to land and takeoff but it is. Building a 701 really made my dream of being able to afford an airplane and fly again a reality. It is so capable that you really don’t need a large piece of land to be able to operate, it allows you to avoid hangar rental costs, I do all the maintenance, and although that new 80 hp Rotax cost more than other options, it comes with legendary reliability and customer support that provides peace of mind, and I’m pleasantly surprised by my operating costs. I can taxi about, do my run up checks, fly for 30 minutes in the pattern, log three takeoffs and landings, and burn just over one gallon of regular grade auto gas. Impressive.
