On a ground adjustable 60 inch two blade prop on a Jabiru 3300, what's the ideal pitch setting, I have changed mine which produced high EGT's

Thanks Bob will give that a try
I have a Rotax 912 ad set the prop pitch using WOT rpm. You want the engine to operate in the power band during climb. I tied off the plane to my car and ran engine to WOT and observed rpm. For the 912, the power band is around ~5200-5300 rpm so determine it for the Jabiru; I'd guess around 3000 rpm. If engine wants to over rev, pitch is too flat and needs to be increased 1 deg at a time. You go thru iterations until the rpm holds in the power band. Then fly it and tweak some more if required.
