Hi Mark; I just posted the following question to the forum; can you help? Thanks Banksy..
We are building a 601HD but have a dilemma and not sure what to do. For the center wing, the plans (page 6V5 - 2, see attached) says the Gear Slides are 1-1/2 x 3/4 x .125", the length is 298 (mm) and there are 4L and 4R required. It also says, "If using extrusion 1-1/2" x 1 " (which we are), then cut the 1" flange to 3/4" on full length of extrusion. The metal that came with our kit (see 2nd attached pic) has "TD 6v5-4" written by hand on it as well as a sticker that says "Gear Slides QTY. = 4 short - 4 long". The size is 1-1/2 x 1 x 1/8 (written on it) which means we have to cut it down from 1" to 3/4". Now, here is the dilemma...as far as I can tell, the plans only give the dimensions for the long sides (298mm). What would be the length of the short pieces? And what the heck is 6v5-4? There is no 4th component drawing on page 6v5...there are only 3. Thanks if you can help; it will be very much appreciated. Cheers...
