How I lifted my CH601HD to change the main bungee. A Workmate or sawhorse under the tail. Padded sawhorse under each wing to stabilize if jack failed.

I see you have PA28-140 time. I bought a 1972 Cherokee 140 in February 2021 that had been stored in a hangar 15 years.  Installed a new 160 hp engine, prop, 406 ELT, LED lights and I am almost ready to fly again. I have never flown a PA28-140. I learned to fly in the 70's at a Cessna Pilot Centre and bought a 1963 C172.
