Lou Buckley here.  I’m afraid I’m just a lurker here.  I was very interested in the idea of flight and kit built aircraft but the years have passed.  I am not a pilot and have no building experience or skills.  I suspect a local EAA chapter and a technical advisor would be a significant help.  I wish you all the best.  I suspect you will have fun building and the end result be great.  Are you thinking of a Viking engine?
