Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
I'm going to be going the AOA route and don't need the factory pitot/static tubes. If anyone needs it, free to a good home. Shoot me a message if interested.

I am curious why the pitot tube is not needed for the AOA indicator. Does it include its own pitot? Which one did you get?
I want to add an AOA to my plane as well.
I'm going with Dynon avionics. They require a different pitot tube and separate static port.
I'm doing the same thing with a Dynon set up and am going to attempt something weird with the static port. Good chance I'm going to regret it...
I'm putting the ADAHRS unit in the left wing. This makes a very easy run to the Dynon pitot/AOA probe, but makes it difficult for normal locations of the static port. However, then I noticed that the Zenith probe includes both pitot and static. I picked up a Zenith probe off ebay cheap and am going to use both the Dynon and Zenith probes. I will use the pitot and AOA off the Dynon and the static off the Zenith. I'll not use the pitot portion of the Zenith.
