In-flight testing of my recently installed Dynon Autopilot:)
I recently installed a Dynon autopilot in my CH750. Currently performing in-flight testing and tuning. Wondering if anyone has done same and can provide final roll and pitch settings if different from default settings?C-FZYB%20Autopilot%20installed%21.jpeg

Sorry for the delay in responding Jonathan. The installation was not that difficult. You could do it in a weekend if you wanted...but schedule a week, few hours a day with a buddy. I got Dynon SV mounts along with excellent installation instructions from David J. Beaulieu who is a fellow member. Give him a call.

It took me some time probably 20 hours into testing before I tackled the autopilot. With the default settings, every time I tried to turn it on it tried to roll me upside down. It took a while before I got the heavy wing issue taken care of then realized I had AP in the wrong mode and it was trying to follow CRS bug instead of the flight plan. Once I got that taken care of it dialed in quite nicely.
The biggest drawback is that Dynon refuses to make a simulator or trainer and you have to risk your life learning how to fly the panel in the air!
So I decided to make a clone of the HDX and my panel to do ground training with!
