Hello All. I'm looking to hear from all of you that have mounted LED landing/taxi lights in your 701 slats.

I'm ready to cut the holes in the leading edge of the slats and want to make sure I get them in the correct location.

Can anyone give me measurements of the hole size you used, and where it is located?

A measurement from the trailing edge to the top of the cut out would be a great starting point. The distance inboard from the tip, as well as the size of the hole you cut in to the skin.

I'm using the AeroLED Microsun lights.

I just want to get the alignment right so the lights project correctly for taxi and landing.

Thanks in advance.

So... I decided to strike out on my own and design my own slat landing/taxi light system.

I think it turned out well.

I laid out all the drawings in CAD so if anyone else wants the cut out templates, I can send them to you.

I would like the template please. Thank you sir buddylroberts@hotmail.com

I would also like the template......

Did you make them adjustable?

Thanks

Wig-Wag set up on the slat landing lights.

Very cool. Nice and bright.
