Hello everyone, good afternoon. I’m building a 601 and would like to upgrade it by removing those bungee cords. Does anyone have a design for this modification? I’ve seen many people make this change using springs. Would it be possible to use bicycle rear suspension units? Is it also possible to replace the landing gear bungees?

I am Brazilian and would like to develop this suspension system, as it is difficult to find the elastic bands in Brazil and the cost is very high.

Thank you all very much for the help.

Hi Mr Lopes,

The zenith factory has a rubber puck system, or viking aircraft has a spring system.

michael.

I’m in Brazil, and getting hold of these parts isn't easy; import costs make purchasing them unfeasible. I’m building it from scratch based on the design. I needed the plans for this system so I could replicate it here.
