Cleggan airstrip was opened for one day only, 15th June 2019, for the centenary of Alcock and Brown's flight across the Atlantic.

Alcock and Brown's flight was a short story in a "reader" that I read in probably grade 3. It captured my imagination then and probably plays some sort of a role in my interest of aviation today. Thanks for showing us that physical connection to aviation history.
