Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
I see the information on the Annual Zenith Open Hangar Day & Fly-In has been updated. I hope to fly my 750 from middle-Tennessee to the event on Friday. It'll be about a 4+ hr cross-country (with a stop in Sikeston for Lambert's "throwed rolls!") for me from my brother's location at KMBT (Murfreesboro, TN).
Question for those who have attended one or more of the Fall annual fly-ins:
The Saturday events look to be more free-form/less scheduled than Friday and officially end at 3 p.m. Do the active builders and flyers tend to depart fairly early on Saturday afternoon, or, is there still quite a lot of "hangar flying"/socializing still going on well into the afternoon? The reason I ask is to at least tentatively plan whether to fly-out Saturday afternoon or wait 'til Sunday a.m. (Likely the weather will decide for me rather than all my "planning." HA!)
