Check the video out from Oshkosh on the Avilution "unpanel":

It talks about it at 8:30. You can see it here in the Zenith 750 Super Duty at about the 1:30 mark:

They estimate 12k for this and it has ADS-B in/out along with AOA. I think this would be great in the Cruzer that I am building. What do others think?
I posted this in the Open section since others not building a Cruzer maybe interested.

I looked at it here at Airventure, it looks really nice. I like how open the cabin is and the fact that you can move the "screen" to where you want it by just pushing it into position. I am also building a Cruzer and asked Roger about it, he said it will work in it.
I am definitely impressed with the concept. I also had the pleasure to openly view the layout in the 750SD on display at AirVenture. The lack of heavy wiring behind the old panel area and the ability to shift the position of the flat screen to a position to better fit the flying pilot is super. I would presume that all nav and communications controls are touchscreen as the physical unit packages are mounted under the seats or further aft. I am in the process of building a 601/650XLB and would hope that something could be modified to install this setup in them.

The only thing I didn't like about the Unpanel was that the screen was highly reflective, almost mirror-like. Guess one would have to actually fly one to see if that is a problem. 12K sounds fairly pricey, but I understand that includes a lot of avionics. Anyone get a quote for the panel only, mount, and software to integrate with existing avionics?
