On my 750 SD I decided not to have a rear seat, I am planning on using it for cargo area.  I wanted to have tie down rings to secure whatever I am carrying.  I am installing the four point seat belts so I did not install the original shoulder harness attaching points.

I discovered the top two rivet locations of the shoulder harness attaching points have exactly the same distance as the bolts on the bolts on the aft Super Brackets.  So I opened the harness attaching hole to 7/8" and cut off the top portion.  I bent the remaining material so it was about a 70 degree angle. 

Maybe the attached photos will be a better description of how it turned out.

Nice! I’ve been struggling to come up with a design for the cargo/baggage area of my 701. Do you have a particular cargo net you intend to use and if so who makes it? All I can find are either the heavy duty true cargo nets (all way to large and heavy for my little 701) or there are a hundred different too-flimsy, too-stretchy organizer trunk nets on Amazon. I’m looking for something small and sturdy.

I am still searching for something that will work as a durable and strong cargo retention system.  Certainly I could run cargo straps diagonally across the area but a cargo net is much more secure.  Perhaps something like this?

I’ll never carry any real cargo behind my head in my little 701. The max allowable weight back there is only 40 lbs. so something like that net is way too much for me. I just need to make sure turbulence or a survivable crash doesn’t send something back there flying forward into the back of my head. Right now I’m leaning toward placing my folding lawn chair and any loose objects in a sturdy canvas kit bag, and using carabiners to secure the bag handles to the airframe back there. Your shoulder harness rings have inspired some options for me- thanks!

I know it seems small but it says it's elastic.

Yeah thanks Earnest, but the 701 baggage area places any unrestrained cargo in a position to launch forward into the back of your skull (or your passenger’s skull) in the event of a sudden stop, so stretchy is not a good thing.
