We are installing the Center Spar in our CH 650. The manual calls-out and angle of 83 degrees.
Our spar angle is 78 degrees. The skin cut out for the spar appears to be the 83 degree value.
Has anyone else seen this problem and what is the reccommended fix?

I haven't run across that before. It should be bent to 83 degrees. The maximum acceptable tolerance for the bend angle is +/- 1.7 degrees. 78 degrees is too far off to use and I don't recommend using if its that far out. The way the center spar is made I don't think it will be something that you can fix. Send me some pictures of it showing the bend angle and we will get it worked out for you. My email address is caleb@zenithair.com.
The Data Plate information on the Center SPAR is: Top Line 6 W 4
Bottom Line 63465-7
