I ran into a gotcha on the cowl.

We prefit the whole thing a while back with the rubber part of the baffles.

When I tried to put it all back together with the rubber it didn't fit anymore around the spinner area. The bottom baffling was pushing it up and forward.

I had to relocate the sides where they meet the fuselage and where the top panels overlap changed too.

If you are reading this you may also be interested in the cowl saver baffling.  It's pricey but it is allot easier to get the bowl where you want it.

What engine are you working with, Fred?

I'm getting good results in ground running from engine mounted baffles that only have to interface with the cowl at the intake openings.
