FAA APP (Additional Pilot Program)
Here is the link to the FAA Additional Pilot Program. This allows for a qualified co-pilot during Phase I flight testing! Hadn't heard a thing about it 'til it was mentioned in the 601/650 Forum! Seems to me this would really help those needing transition help and accomplishing their first and subsequent Phase I test flights! Notice that at this time, only kit-built and not plans-built aircraft are eligible and auto conversion engines are not eligible unless recommended by the kit manufacturer.

Note that the Operating Limitations issued to the individual aircraft MUST allow for the additional pilot program. This is specified in section "6 b." of AC90-116 A lot of people seem to miss this little sentence!
Clint Murphy's Ch750 was issued its AW Cert in October... in other words very recently and when the DAR was very aware this AC was about to be issued... and his Op Limits do NOT contain any mention of the APP, AC90-116, etc.
In short: Check your operating limitations. Contact the issuing DAR for help in getting this added to your operating limitations.
