I installed an aftermarket rocker switch rather than the switch supplied with the kit, and it has finally broken.  I have what I think is the original toggle switch as supplied by Zenith and would like to install it:

You may be able to see that the lower set of terminals are labeled "A1, A2, A3" and the upper row of terminals are "B4, B5, B6."

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this switch or at least know which terminal(s) are +12V power?

Thanks,

John

This would be the standard setup for a switch like that.  You can of course double check with a test light or meter.

Thanks, John B - Looks like +12V power and ground would have to go to the middle terminals (A2, B2, or on my switch, A2, B5) since they're the only ones in common with "UP" or "DOWN."

I just found this "Instructables" link: How to Wire a DPDT Reverse Polarity Switch

My old switch obviously already had jumpers connecting the terminals:

I hooked up the new switch (without jumpers) putting the +12V and ground on the middle terminals and connecting the 2 flap motor terminals to a pair of terminals on the same end of the switch.  The flap motor worked in one direction.  So, looks like I need to make some crossing jumpers and it should work either direction.

That should work.  I have added a picture of the wiring diagram from the plans.  This way when I forget about this and need to look up this post in the future it will be here.
