I am flying off the phase one test period for a friend that has a medical issue.  On the first flight it was apparent that the right wings flys "heavy".  On examination I discovered the right flaparon is set about an inch higher than the left flaparon.  I assume that adjusting the vertical flaparon control tube should fix this and I don't like making assumptions.

I would appreciate input to confirm my thinking or lack thereof.

Thanks in advance,

Sometimes you'll find small differentials in various components and it may/may not affect flight characteristics, but a 1" differential in the flaperons is definitely too much!  (However, I once flew someone else's STOL 750 with one flaperon with an obviously uneven trailing edge-flaperon gap and it flew straight and level hands-off.  I guess sometimes the errors average-out! Haha!)

Since you're not the builder but you are the test pilot, I'd adjust/correct that and then, if you haven't already, go over all the control surfaces and make sure they're within plan specs.

Hope you and Ron can bring the 750 out for the Fall Homecoming at Zenith Aircraft!
