Gull wing baffles on Jabiru vs Camit
I just noticed something the other day about my friends Camit 3300 engine.
His metal Gull wings(that's what Jabiru calls them) are located underneath the cylinders while mine (Jabiru 3300) are on top. I checked my install directions again and they clearly show them on top. My friend said his engine (Camit) came with them installed on the bottom. It makes me wonder which is correct or better??

I think the CamIT version works best and have used CamIT gullwings on my Jab 3300 for years. Makes more sense to me to not obstruct the airflow going down from above the cylinders and use the gullwings to keep the airflow in contact with the fins on a longer path below the cylinders.
