Anyone have a 740b they wish to sell?
Thanks

If you don't find one, I think iFly occasionally has refurb units for sale (with a warranty) - might be worth checking.

Jim,
I have one that I use as a backup. It has a small scratch on the bottom left corner of the screen. I have 2 suction cup mounts, 12v charger, wall charger and case. Not sure what it's worth...

Confirm this is the new 740b with the internal battery?
Hi Jim,
It is the 740b with internal emergency battery.
After looking at the box I'm not sure if it's a B or not.....
I have the original 740 - it has a 1300 nit screen and the 740b has an 1100 nit screen. (Anything over 1000 nits is "sunlight-readable/aviation quality" brightness. Apparently the 1300 screen became too expensive to source and they came out with the 740b. Both have the internal battery. I saw a comparison video and it is hard to tell the difference - perhaps the ever-so-slightly brighter 740 color tones look a little "cooler," but it's not a huge difference. The 740b's internal battery life should be marginally longer since the 1100 nit screen should draw slightly less power.
You couldn't go wrong with either one!

Thanks John, looks like about the only differences are 200 nits of screen brightness and the b model has WiFi.
Glenn I’d like to give you a call this weekend to discuss if you’re available
Jim
The original 740 has WIFI, too - works flawlessly with my Stratux ADSB-in. The WIFI is well-integrated and pre-configured to work with almost any WIFI-enabled ADSB device. It automatically detects any device with no user intervention. You can also use the WIFI for internet access for pre-flight planning.

Thanks John!
