I have the ULPower 350iS  I have the ACS 510 ignition switch however it is for magneto'd engine. Does anyone make an Off, Lt, Rt, Run, Start  ignition switch for a coil?

Greg, are you trying to have just one switch to cover the three functions (coil #1, Coil #2, and the ECU) rather than three separate switches?  The guys at the Aero-Electric connection forum would certainly be able to offer some insight and help if you post the question and explain your design objective.  HTH  Cheers!

Dave

Greg, I advise to install toggle switches instead of the ACS 510

Herman, can you give some details on how to do this?  What do you use as a Starter switch?

Ray at UL and Roger at Zenith both say a conventional Off, Lt, Rt, On and start switch work fine and is what was supplied with my FWF package. I have it installed am almost ready for a first start. For first start, one of the coils should be disconnected to ensure one circuit is functional, then the same with the other.

Scott, I totally missed your reply on this, I did not see the notification

I do not install the ACS switch, I like toggle switches better. It is possible but you need to use relays. this can be found in the ULPower install manual on page 44

I use a push button starter via a relay to activate the starter motor.

As long as you use 16awg for the starter circuit on the ACS keyed switch, no relays are required. Checked this with Ray and Roger. The Zenith UL350 prototype uses an ACS keyed switch. I don’t know about other brand keyed switches.

Correction. 14awg wire for the starter circuit as per the UL manual. Note that the L and R magneto selections function through the ECU to shut down either coil so no heavy or shielded wire is required here.

Thanks Herman...
