I initially labelled my panel with adhesive vinyl letters. However, the local vinyl shop didn't want to make the lettering any smaller than 1/4" - they said it is too difficult to get the letters cleanly cut out if the font is any smaller. I initially went with that, but felt it just looked too "out-of-scale" and detracted from the appearance of my nice powdercoated panel. I briefly considered p-Touch labels, etc., but hey, at this stage in the build, the budget went out the window long ago! LOL!

Surfin' the net, I came across a recommendation for Arrow Graphics. The owner, Scott, does very nice custom placards. The interior placards have a black background with lettering that has a brushed aluminum appearance. The adhesive placard is then laminated with Lexan to protect it. Prices are pretty reasonable considering you're getting a custom set of placards. He also has black-on-white background exterior placards for labeling fuel tanks, etc.
