Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
I am curious how other pilots deal with dust in their hangars. Presently I must wipe down my airplane from nose to tail every time I go to fly. I have a canopy cover and have considered getting covers for the wings and tail but that takes time, too.
One suggestion I've heard is to take an old parachute and rig a pulley at the top of the hangar. Easy off and not much work to put on.
Does anyone know where I can find an old parachute? Does anyone have any other techniques or suggestions on how to deal with dust? I'm open to other options.

I think the 100' version may be overkill.
You didn't mention the hangar floor - if it is concrete and not already sealed or painted, it'll help somewhat to thoroughly clean and dry it and then apply a concrete sealer - even Thompson Water Seal is better than nothing! Of course, if you're in a dusty environment beyond/outside the hangar floor, it might not help that much!

Fortunately the floor is concrete. I blow it out every few months. I'm always amazed at how much dirt I blow out. The problem is the wind blowing through all the time.
Thanks for the suggestion.
