I'm trying to put together the flaperon actuator for my 5th ed Cruzer. It has the same set up as the SD.
The Linear Actuator Control Rod has pre-drilled holes through it to attach it to the end of the actuator with an AN4 bolt. My problem is that the holes aren't exactly in the center of the cylinder so when I try to put the bolt through it doesn't align with the hole on the other side. I've attached pics.
My question is can I open up the "exit" hole to get the bolt through or would this allow slop and cause an issue with flaperon movement? I'm thinking that the bolt going through one side, then the actuator, and the nut being properly torqued it should be ok.
Anyone else have this issue?
