Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Hi, All;
I've been trying to get my O-200 to fire up so I can then take the plane to the hangar. However, no joy.
I thought I had spark issues, so double-checked the crank/cam timing, firing order from #1 cylinder, plug wire orientation, distributor timing with the mag synch tool, etc.
So, I sprayed some starting fluid in the air filter. THAT got some results, so I know that SOMETHING is at lest providing a start.
So now I'm concentrating on fuel.
Just to make sure, how many turns (?) out from fully seated do I back-out the larger idle mixture screw on the upper side of the carb (relatively)?
Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi Carl, The carb manual I have states 1 1/2 to 2 turns out from the fully seated position as a starting point. I have attached the manual, info should be on sheet 11. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much, Clint; that helps tremendously!
