Mag / Alt wiring

Hi all

what wire and wire size are you all using on the mags and Alt?

The Jab 3300 wiring diagram has just plane 16G wire for the Mags to the grounding switches, 

Aero Electric basic wiring diagram has it as 20AWG shielded wire. 

For the Alt switching, Jab has  its the same 16G plane wire and Aero elec has plane 20AWG .

So I am confused.. 

Which to use with my Gen 4 and why?
