Hi GangAbout to order a Gen 4 3300 for my XLB and have a few Q.It states Please note that the Gen 4 engine cannot use tacho tabs. Please order a Tacho Hall Effect kit if an EMS is not installed. Now I will be using a Grand Rapids EIS so do I need to order a Tacho Hall Effect? or is an EIS classed as an EMS?Which is better the Tractor single or duel and straight exhaust pipes? Hi a mate brought a 601 XL with an 912 fitted. he has since found that the Engine mount has been modified and lengthened. He did not get an Engine mount drawing. Where can I tell him to get one as my plans set for my XL has everyother engine mount but the 912?Chris..See More

gang I brought a fwf kit from Pete K a few years back. With the Gen 4 3300 larger aluminium heads Will it still fit inside the old cowl? Chris.See More

XL center spar removal

Hi All
just removed my center spar and had to remove one of the rear spar uprights to get the spar out. Has anyone removed the spar by just removing the 2 FWD spar uprights and how did you do it for the benifit of others?

I have also been giving Allan at Bendigo a hard time.I have the wings, tail ,fuel system,control system ordered and pay for before the Aust dollar crashed, still cost $220 more. but will cost a lot more for fuselage, if Aust dollar stays were it is. one can only hope the green back falls 10c.
