BTW, William, no personal experience with them, but Legit Avionics in Indiana has taken over the US MGL sales and service.

Thanks for the info I will contact them . Its good to see that a company in the U.S. picked the equipment line up. I have studied their install instructions quite a lot and as I understand it there is a U.L. Power screen that displays data from the ECU, that's one of the features that I am interested in.
So thanks for the info.
William
It should have both.

Diagram on page 55.
So I have been studying the manual and I have been thru it at least 4 time to find the information you guys have indicated was in there, its a lot of info to absorb.
I have also noted that they (MGL) requires an engine ground system. I did run a wire to the engine block and then made a multiple attachment point in the cockpit. The remainder of the equipment will go to the battery ground.
Any thought on that ??
I have never worked with Can Bus any thoughts on that?.
How did you deal with the inter connection ?
I found that the high density plug uses machined pins .I order prewired plugs I am so glad I did .
On another subject !
I will be using the AV30-E's for flight instrument and they use the hi density plug and I have ordered a used crimp and guide tool. No prewired plug offered.
I appreciate your help.
William
You should be using a common ground for instruments and avionics. That can be a dedicated bus bar in the panel that connects to the engine block, and that will suit the purpose MGL is trying to get across, that you shouldn't use a direct connection to battery negative as your EFIS ground. That's the reason they put that in the manual. I would use a separate bus for engine connections and avionics connections.
This document is geared more toward avionics and instruments, but....
