Has anyone built a trailing link system for the main gear on the old stuff leg 601?

Hi Ray,  I have not seen a trailing link conversion for the older bungie style main gear, but I did come across this video a while ago:

An HDS customer had an incident, he decided to create a conversion to the newer 650 gear.  Looks to add some weight but overall looks very sturdy.  --  Clint
