I'm ready to close up the rear fuselage and want to make sure I've got everything done that I might want done before riveting. Anyone wish they had done something ( anything ) prior to closing up? I used zinc phosphate on all mating surfaces, otherwise it's bare metal. Thanks for any input!

I wish I had placed antennas, added any additional access panels, fully planned wiring, prepped an ELT mount location, added mounts for header tanks and fuel routing before riveting. Just make sure you know where the control lines will be so you don't create interference. It gets pretty tough relying on "hell hole" access later on.

Thanks Steven! Have yet to decide on avionics and engine ( alot can happen in the next few years ) apparently time in the' hole ' is inevitable. Can't decide whether to prime and or paint the interior of the aft fuselage or leave bare, I used zinc phosphate primer on all mating surfaces. Anyway I appreciate your input!
