List,
I am going to start the registration process for my project in the near future. It was suggested for me to think about how I package what I spent for tax purposes.
For those in Tennessee, what was your experience and what would you different?

Rich - Believe me, it is much better to proactively pay the taxes to Tenn Dept of Revenue during the FAA registration process rather than wait on a bill. I'd rather discuss the details privately, so I've sent you a PM.

It's been 15 years or so since I registered my RV- please keep me in the loop on this issue. I'm in Smyrna and my 701 kit arrives early January and looking forward to connecting with other builders in TN area.

Hi Mark,
I live between Smyrna and Murfreesboro in the Blackman area. My hanger is at Murfreesboro. Definitely not my first choice but, "You do what you got to do"! I was actually shocked when they called and said they had an empty hanger.
Lebanon is building hangers but the want $1000 up front for retainer and then they will raise after , $289 a month and will raise after 3 years.
I really wanted to go to Shelbyville but, that's another story in itself!
Anyhow, I am at Murfreesboro, I have all at the airport for final assembly except for the flaps and 3 other small pieces.
Ill get hot and heavy with final assembly after the holidays.
