So I ran a preasure test as described in ac-90-89

It did not pass and showed a small leak loosing from 90 knots to 78 k it's in 60 seconds.

What did you use to seal the plastic to plastic tubing a and fittings.

Thanks,
Rich

I've seen them use teflon tape on the nylon fittings in factory aircraft.  It's about the only place I would use teflon tape on an aircraft.

I never have done a leak test.

Where you can, like usually on straight joints, I use electrical heat shrink to seal. works good.

For clamps I just use 1/4" tie wraps. There's not much clamp force there but it's always worked for me especially if the fitting has a swell in it instead of the barb type.

And here's another way...

I might not do this on a 200kt aircraft, but I have no problem with the 750. The bottom picture is a "sophisticated" system that has been exposed and has worked for 9 years. On sun exposed flexible tubing connectors I change them about every two years or so.
