Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Hi Guys I have a question. I am thinking of adding a couple of small storage bins behind the pilot and passenger seats, interested in feed back has anyone done this?

Kevin,
Since you posted this in the Open Forum (non model specific), it would be helpful to mention which model of Zenith aircraft you have as the seating is quite different in the various models - 701, 750, 801, 601/650, etc., and the storage areas would be different.

These look cool, I guess you just have to be careful of heavy things.
Ironically, I was thinking the exact same thing for my 601XL. My interior by Lemke has the reinforced seat backs so I can leave the access panels off the seat backs. I was considering for storage of my primary and backup headsets. I’m pretty sure they will fit nicely.
Yes they should fit easily, looking at the photos of the post above those ones look very deep, I made mine about 120mm deep so I could get stuff from the bottom of it while flying the plane because you sort of have to reach up and then down into it. Im also conscious of the fact that if you have the space you're tempted to fill it, which could cause an overload condition, my wings have the wing lockers also.
Hi Guys this is on a 601HD model
