My wife and I will be attending Sun and Fun this year, for the first time, to check out engines, avionics, instruments, etc for our 750. We'll be there for the week, and don't want to miss anything, including the air events.

I notice there are "VIP" and "Flightline" tickets available, but very spendy! Is there any advantage to the "Prestige" locations, or can we pretty much take in everything with a regular pass?

Any advice and information from the "old hands" would be appreciated.

Hello David, I took my wife to Sun and Fun a couple years ago. It was the first time for both of us and went with the idea of doing a lot shopping just like yourself. We just bought the regular gate passes with no special seating and we were able to view the air events just fine while visiting all the vendor locations. Seems like we spent most of the time walking and less sitting anyway so this worked well for us. Lots to see in the Orlando area, so be sure to take to wife to one of the other local attractions as well. Have a great time!

David - You won't need the "VIP" or "Flightline" tickets to answer your burning questions. Ask those questions of the guys around the Zenith display or the Zenith BBQ, if they have one...... Between engines, avionics, etc. you'll have more opinions then you care to have...... However, you sometimes can make some great deals on those same items at the show. But you need to be prepared to buy..... It sounds like though you may not be at that point. Anyway enjoy!!
