Tri-Z CH300 Nose gear wanted
Does anyone have a CH300 Tri-Z nose gear leg available for purchase ?? I'm looking for a serviceable unit, with elliptical sleeve and piston as provided by Zenair in their CH300 kits. Ours was supplied with our kit in the early 1980's, and has recently been damaged in a landing incident. (not by me!)
I'm also looking for a prop to replace the damaged wooden, fixed pitch Hoffmann HO27HM 180 160 to mount on the Lycoming O360 A3A via a prop extension which I do have. The original prop gave 115 knots at 2450 rpm as a comfortable cruise

Suggest you get in contact with Bob Philips at Frogs Hollow SAAA Chapter 23 NSW. You may already know of him, he has been involved in building some 18 CH300s over the years. Sorry his details are on my work computer, let me know if you can't track him through SAAA and I'll email his address tomorrow.

Hi Glenn,
Thank you for your referral to Bob Philips. I have spoken to him and he has recommendedchanging the nose gear mount to accept a Cessna 150 leg. I will use this advice as an alternative solution if the repair, which is already under way, doesn't satisfy me. Thanks for you contribution.
