Hello Bob,
I met Bo a few years ago whilst working near Rockingham and became friendly with him and Elgar. Over the past 4 years I have been working there on a contract basis, travelling between Oz and Poland where I live, on an irregular basis.
I must have missed you whenever you were over at Serpentine but I got to know quite a few of the characters there. It was always a pleasure to go to the airfield, spending most weekends there and flying with Bo and others whenever the opportunity arose.
At present I fly a Zenair CH701 which is in my garage for a winter refit. Unfortunately the winters here are substantially longer than the summers so I don't fly as much as I would like.
As I am coming up for 70 I am coming less to Oz now although there could be a chance of one trip during your autumn at which time should the opportunity present itself I will be at Serpentine for sure.
Good to talk with you Bob, regards, Michael
