I'm going to mostly copy the paint scheme of the new Zenith 750 demo for my 750, except to make it green over white instead of yellow over white. I've noticed in later photos/videos of the demo plane, they added their signature "checkerboard" pattern of dark squares on the slats.

I'm thinking that a similar checkerboard pattern of white squares on my green slats would look sharp. I "assume" the squares are a vinyl graphic???

If so, does anyone have experience with vinyl graphics on leading-edge surfaces such as a wing or slats? Is the vinyl durable enough to scrub bugs off the leading edge? I figure "low and slow" flight ought to create quite an entomological collection on the slats! LOL!

Sebastien messaged me recently and confirmed the checkerboard pattern on the slats is indeed vinyl. He says it has proven very durable & bug removal is not a problem.
