I've been flying (not building!) for 25 years but I don't understand why AI are sold with different "tilts"?

I was thinking it may have to do with tail draggers - but the attitude indicator is the same in the air, right?

I have an opportunity to buy one with 6 degrees of tilt for my tri-gear 601 so I'm trying to understand if this will work for me or not.

TIA

Gary

Hi Gary

That's the angle of the panel face in flight.
