Zenith Decals, Logos, etc.

I "think" I've decided on my 750's paint scheme (a bit premature since the wings aren't even fitted yet! ), but I was wondering if builders can suggest sources for Zenith decals/vinyl lettering, logos, etc. Does Zenith sell these? I kind of like the "STOL" on the tail with the arrow incorporated in the "O" like the factory demo plane had. I also would like a decal of the Zenith "ZAC" winged logo.

Also, along the same vein - what is a good source for the curved arrows that show the direction to turn the door latches - or, can most any sign shop come up with these?

Finally if I remember correctly, I "think" the "EXPERIMENTAL" lettering has to be 2" high minimum and placed where visible to the passenger (or does it have to be visible to pilot and passenger?) on entering the aircraft. Are there any restrictions as to color, font, spacing/length of this sign?

John, here is an EAA page talking about the 2" EXPERIMENTAL LETTERS BETWEEN 2" & 6" NO OTHER RESTRICTIONS.

Thanks, Randy ... for the FAA, sounds like the "EXPERIMENTAL" specs are remarkably "loose"! Looks like it just has to be visible "near each entrance" to the cabin ... doesn't specify pilot/passenger - I think I was getting that mixed up with the "Passenger Warning" placard.

Now that is settled ... anyone with sources for the decals/vinyl/logos?

Aircraft spruce for the arrows, EAA has a forms kit to regester your build, the Experimental decal is included along with the requirements for it.

I would think that just about any local sign shop could generate the logos and decals that you would want. I produce vinyl decals on my CNC machine and could produce them in just about any size that you would like, BUT, the question is does Zenith allow the reproduction of their logos and trademarks? Only they could answer that question.

John your post prompted me to make a banner for my shop to help keep me motivated. I downloaded the files and then converted them to vector/DXF files. Then I attached my vinyl cutting blade to my CNC machine and made this. The blue is off a little but it was the only blue that I had in stock.
