Thanks; you're probably right. One of my pals in the sixties used a Comanche to check his cattle and to commute from ranch to ranch. I was flying a Citabria at the time. If it's a small ranch, and ultra-lite might be even better--slow, maneuverable in tight spaces, etc. But then I don't know where you are and what conditions you're up against. The Zeniths drop like rocks, but don't pitch much when they "stall." Not good for slow and maneuvering low while observing the scenery. Despite the oil-canning, I think they need a real stall warning. Just my two cents . . . maybe I'm wrong. You might be able to get a Champ in decent condition if you don't need cross-country capability (although it should fly at around 70). Unless you just want to build one.
