Hello,
My name is Mr. Michael Mccarthy, I have contacted you before without any response from you. Please replied if you receive this message. I have something very important to discuss with you, I have a vital information to give you. Could you please get back to me on (mmichaelmccarthy4@gmail.com ) for full details.
Michael Mccarthy.
Did you get my mail about the use of the flight data systems fuel flow computer? Have done a few more hours since your last mail and still practising the landings!
Regards,
Robin.
Dear Larry,
Thank you! We have both found that flaring even a little bit early cause eventual heavy sink and then the nose wheel drops hard so it is good to hear from an experienced pilot jthat maybe we are on the right track for this plane.
Do you have a good contact for someone at Zenith who will reply to e-mails. I write to Roger Dubbert but quite frankly it seems that this is an irritation to him as his reply time is worse than surface mail from Africa to America! I actually want to know how much difference a variable pitch prop would make to the performance of the plane as much in terms of take off performance as cruise speed. I have also asked him about the flight data systems fuel flow computer FC 10 which is in my plane but not fitted to the system yet.. I wonder if you have any experience with these and wheter or not you would advice setting it up.
I really appreciate your feedback and trust that this is not too much of a nuisance for you!
Kind regards,
Robin.
Very many thanks for your comprehensive reply. Somehow I had missed it until tonight- I do not know why! My son and I have flown about 50 hours in our plane now and are getting better as we go along. Stopping the nose dropping hard after the main gear is still sometimes a problem. I do think that our ASI is under-reading but it has been difficult to find out for sure as it is very windy here at the moment. Glad you approach speed a little bit higher as we find she sinks fast at anything lower.
We have done about 8 two hour cross countries and really enjoy the great visibility. Will keep you infomred how we are doing.
Robin.
Regards,
Robin.
