Those floats are straight floats built from a set of Zenair plans which I purchased many years ago.Yes,they took a long time to built.Note,I am using the new type landing gear.

Great float assembly pictures. Straight or amphibs? Is this the "kit" or "pre-drilled kit"? How was the assembly process, I was told by Mark Townsend they were "a Bear" to build.
