I think the most difficult part about building my 701 is to find somebody to give me some instructions on how to fly it.I read a lot about it on the Internet but I need practical experience. Can anybody help?

Hi Heinz,
Sure looks good. Mounting the floats on the Skyjeep gear is a challenge and pretty much left to the builder. Your installation meant a lot of modifications but sure looks sturdy !
Good going. By the way, have you got pictures of the main gear brackets finished ?
Also, what did you do for the front wheel ???
I'm at this point now and doing a lot of head scratching ...

Hi Heinz The angle between the upper cabin frame and the top of the float is set at about 8 degrees. The float sits at minus 2 dergrees in relation to the ground level while the wing sits at plus 6 degrees.Zenair recommends to set this angle at 4.5 degrees. I think Bob Jones from Alaska was the first to notice that and changed his 701 to 4,5 degrees. I haven't done that so far but I will.Ask Bob He will tell you how to do it.
Best Regards
